Any thoughts about Pat-Meds idea of Co-Principals??...Having sat in that chair I don't know how it can work...plus we are now paying close to $500,000 in additional administrative costs at the HS since the New Board came in....i really hope Tina and Peggy F. (Board President) ,who are now the leaders of that board, understand what that they are doing...that Board has already changed...District Clerk...asst. supt for personnel...asst.to the supt....and soon will lose its supt... now we are undermining the the new building principal...for the STUDENTS AND THE TAXPAYERS SAKE I hope they know what they are doing...

. . . rarely know what they are doing! They have their own agenda for running and being on the board. Think about all BMs you have worked with. As soon as their damage is done, they are off the board, leaving the mess for others.No different this time, or in any district for that matter.

How does Peggy and Freaky Hair get a pass on this? Do we need two principals, four ass't principals, God knows how many deans? Never mind the salary, think of the health insurance costs, retirement contributions, workers comp, dental, etc. The proof of their incompetance is in the volume of resignations of enormously qualified people we have seen since they hoodwinked the voters of this district. Pat-Med Schools is on the road to ruin, and Peggy and Freaky Hair are taking your property values down with the ship!

If the co-principals is a new plan and wasn't in last years budget...what programs did they cut to get the $$$ for this new administrative alignment or did they have a slush-fund and lie to the taxpayer in the last budget vote???...We can't let the Tina and Peggy show destroy our District....

I hope the good guys took good notes or else when the minutes are finally released, we need someone to verify what the CO board of Ed presidents said.

I for one will be finding out whETHER OR or not a Section 107 greivance has been filed against this board. THEY MUST BE FORCED TO RELEASE THE MINUTES. They shouldnt be paying hundreds of dollars to attorneys to re-type them either. What was said at the meeting can not be changed. ITS PUBLIC RECORD! Here are the enforcement rules of Article 7 of the Public Officers Law - OPEN MEETINGS LAW:

?107. Enforcement. 1. Any aggrieved person shall have standing to enforce the provisions of this article against a public body by the commencement of a proceeding pursuant to article seventy-eight of the civil practice law and rules, and/or an action for declaratory judgment and injunctive relief. In any such action or proceeding, the court shall have the power, in its discretion, upon good cause shown, to declare any action or part thereof taken in violation of this article void in whole or in part. An unintentional failure to fully comply with the notice provisions required by this article shall not alone be grounds for invalidating any action taken at a meeting of a public body. The provisions of this article shall not affect the validity of the authorization, acquisition, execution or disposition of a bond issue or notes. 2. In any proceeding brought pursuant to this section, costs and reasonable attorney fees may be awarded by the court, in its discretion, to the successful party. 3. The statute of limitations in an article seventy-eight proceeding with respect to an action taken at executive session shall commence to run from the date the minutes of such executive session have been made available to the public.

According to one of the past attorneys for the dist.rict, Locantore was the terrible as a principal at Saxton Junior High...in way over his head!!! But his smile and smile won over fat Janet and fat Maria....and now hes at the high school. The board should be ashamed that they let Donald James go. He was the best thing that happened to the district in years......

I agree with your assessment of Donald James. He is a man of character who wouldn't play Veronica McDermotts petty games. For the salary she steals in tax payer money it's a disgrace. what planet are you on? Whose they? Who will crucify you? I've been to many BOE meetings in the past few months and the only people doing the crucifying are the yellers and screamers (cough cough Julie Wynn). I've never seen anyone get yelled and screamed at by any of the Board members.

And without getting crucified myself, I know I'm not the only one who thinks this but there are some members of the BOE who play and spin on the press like its their job (cough cough LoShiavo - even Mincy). THe press does a terrible job getting answers to the tough questions - they just let members of the BOE spin their way through articles without a single tough question. Its basically how they want the story to go.
