No. The only problem is a group referred to as SCOPE.This stands for Seasoned Coots of Public Education. These are bunch of old retired cronies who bounce from district to district as Interim Supt's,Asst.Supt's,Business Managers etc. They earn a per diem average of $600-$700 a day. Some remain in the same position for up to year and then move on and the position is then again filled with another SCOPE goat. Not a bad gig if you can get it though..right Dan?

This is basically a group of local retired public school administrators who work per diem in local schools by simply notifying the NYS Retirement system that they are incorporating themselves. They then in turn can work per diem for as long as they want earning exactly what the other guy above says. Some of these individuals retired as much as a decade ago or more and continue working..aka Anthony Pecorale. He has worked in no less than a dozen districts. Why not? It's only taxpayers money and who the hell are we.:">

The Roslyn school scandal has never been about the greed of any particular individual. The individuals in the Administration were only the pawns and beneficiaries of the real scheme. Rather, this was a scheme for funneling money back to the majority party in the Town of North Hempstead.

The motive was greed, plain and simple. P.G. has how many homes, cars, etc.? She took care of herself and her family; I can't believe she "funneled" money into a particular party. If what you say is correct, then these people who broke the law risked doing so not for themselves, but for their party of choice. Am I missing something here? No one's going to put their hide on the line unless the reward is reaped by them, not their "party". If I'm wrong, fine. But the posts need to be more specific. I just can't buy into what you are saying.

SCOPE members have absolutely no party affiliation other than their own little group of retired administrators. Why worry about a political affiliation when all your doing is raping public school taxpayers for personal gain.:">

And votes on the Board?
