The English dept. chairperson collected $5 per student for books that were bought by the district! This has been going on for YEARS!! The money was used to purchase lunches for the teachers and for items for the teachers' room ! Not one cent was used for our children. Parents, band together and get the money back!!!

Months ago MP residents found out that the MP English Dept. was charging students $5 for regents review books that were FREE from the NYS. Why hasn't this been looked into? THis has been going on for years -- and that is the defense, "We've always charged $5" - Does this make it right? How much money was made and where did it go? Teachers who are deceptive, sneaky and stealers---Hummmm Could there be more going on? Wake Up Residents!!!

Is the book scam going nowhere like so many other questions in the Miller Place district? Is it easy to take advantage of taxpayers? ABSOLUTELY EASY!!! Like taking candy from a baby!!!

Haven't you figured it out yet? Miller Place is perfect! If it sounds fishy, sweep it under the rug. If it's wrong, a slap on the wrist will do with no repercussions. Pay it back to the taxpayer? Dream on.......

She sure is the same Dr. Gerold. Could that help explain why we are losing the self-sustaining driver's ed. Which in Plainedge and Wantagh was only $300 even in the summer and Farmingdale was charging $410. Who was pocketing the difference??????
