The district paid for authorized trips to the NYS School Board Annual Meeting held around October! Before making statement which are ubtrue why don't you do the research! Or just do a FOIL request!

Public and not-for-profit organizations have been plagued by theft and patronage for years. PTA treasurers, volunteer fire dept fund raisers, Ambulance Squad boards, school boards, even church officials have each taken their turns at abusing the public.

99% of the people involved in these community volunteer organizations are there to serve and protect the public trust. To the best of my knowledge, Jay Breakstone falls within that 99%. Here's a guy who could be spending his free time relaxing or doing work that would bring him personal profit. Instead, he spends that free time VOLUNTEERING as a NON-PAID citizen-watchdog by serving on his school board.

Not entirely self-less in his pursuit of higher office whilst conducting ostensibly non-partisan public business now is he? Wonder if record of exhorbinant salary increases for teachers will produce the planned result, the endorsement of the State Teachers Union?
