According to today's NYT and Newsday articles THOSE "gems" are trying to pass the buck, shift the blame. THEY were in Roslyn for 15 years. PG started in 1990 as a bookkeeper. Thought the responses of TG and JS in the Newsday article were kind of pompous. Were those trips to AC during school time? Anyone know?? The BMW for $21,000 was interesting.
There were several of those floating around the district parking lot reserved for adminintration.

Roslyn test scores and academic achievment were way up there which is why no questions were asked about the massive thievery and questionable expenditures. The kids were doing so well.

It's logical to conclude that with less than glowing test scores, parents would have asked questions about where all the money was going.

Now is the time to checkout Roslyn's test scores and academic achievements to make sure they were not artificially enhanced (with a mind to to facilitate the looting).

For the criminal minds that pulled of an $8M or more theft under the noses of parents, board members, lawyers, accountants, auditors, etc, it would be a simple matter for these same school officials to inflate test scores.

Now there are two open positions. On August 12th, the current School Board (2 new qne 3 old members) must be encouraged to hold an election as early as is possible. Under the current climate, some qualified candidates might be willing to run. We should discourage the Board from appointing the 2 open positions or remaining as a board of 5. Any action on the Board's part requires 4 positive votes to take action. The 2 open positions count as 2 negative votes by law.

Come out to the 8/12 meeting and tell them to hold an election.
