Here is a piece of interesting information. Maybe it is just me but I see a conflict of interest here! AME has as its PAID lobbyist Pete Meringolo who also just happens to be the NYS Public Employees Conference Chairman for the last seven years. The Conference webpage says: New York State Public Employee Conference (NYSPEC) was formed in 1977 as a means of bringing together municipal labor unions and forming a unified voice for public employees. NYSPEC promotes the general welfare of our member organizations and acts as a clearinghouse for legislative issues on behalf of all member organizations. On behalf of ALL??? members - then why is it that Pete Meringolo advocated on behalf of Cheryl Felice for the Legislation regarding red light cameras that the Police Unions did not want????
A new conspiracy or is this just another of Cheryl Felice's webs that she is trying to weave? This is Legislation that Steve Levy wanted passed in Albany. So was this a part of the deal Cheryl made? Wonder what is in this one for her? Do her fellow Union Presidents in the police unions know that she has sold them out again?
