Can you please explain the procedure for reporting a "stolen" service revolver?
Recently, a local Long Beach sgt.left his gun unsecured in a gym bag overnight in his personal vehicle and alas, the car was broken into and the only thing taken was the gym bag with the gun>>>>>>>>>.hmmmm
So what happens in a situation like this ...or rather what SHOULD happen??
Thanks for your knowledge.

You should wrap your lips around the barrel and pull the trigger.

Do cops carry REVOLVERS as their primary weapon? Sounds archaic.

I think your ridiculous set up question is about as stupid as you are! Who cares? Cops have guns stolen every week moron, it's not a huge deal. If the guy forgot his gun was in the car and this actually happened as you say, then the cop will likely have to lie and say the gun was locked away in his house. Then this is a non story and you can go on committing whatever crimes you are currently committing with the guys gun. If you get caught with the gun however, then you will likely be given an addition 3-5 for possesion of the stolen gun. Is that what you were trying to figure out? How much extra time you will get? The cop doesn't care, I'm sure he has another gun to use.
