John Leo, Huntington Town Attorney and Joe DiVincent< Director of Community Development spent tens of thousands backing Brian Cousins and Eunice Marchi. There was an official Democratic Fund Raiser (where Cousins was exposed for not knowing where Huntington schools were physically located, and Marchi exposed for blcakmailing a degree for her son, the terror of HHS).
There were hundreds of lawn signs and thousands of slanderous mailings (of course again using their favorite Dem weapon, "he's a racist"). They were so stupid they mailed it out Leo's law offices at 191 NY Avenue, which is clearly against all Town Ethics code (a Town Attorney working openly with the Democratic Party to oust a sitting school board member).
Well they forgot one thing, the Huntington residents know McGrath, and scoffed at the BS mailers. Result McGrath with no lawn signs, no negaitivity, simply blows them away, winning by a huge margin over the Dem canididates.
Pay back is near.
