taxpayers need help

Long Islanders pay the highest in fuel and utilities costs in the nation. With oil and gas prices rising again and with food prices starting to soar why would the Democrats now pass Cap and Trade on an economy that is just about bankrupt ?
It seems the Democrats need this country to be dependent on big government. What better way than to pass a law that will raise prices on all of the above to stop the earth from getting warmer and redistribute the middleclass wealth at the same time. The earth has been gettinng cooler the last 11 years but don't tell that to the radical leftists in the Democrat Party.
