We are trying to get some answers regarding road paving questions and not getting anywhere with the switchboard number.

This must be your first time dealing with the politics of the town of Brookhaven's highway Dept! If the highway Dept can't put sidewalks at a dangerous crossing in front of a school, what makes you think that they are going to do anything about a paving job. That's right! The Sachem High North is on one of the busiest roads in Brookhaven and the Highway Dept can't put in a proper sidewalk across the street at the crosswalk to let the children cross safely. It is like a speedway, and 25% of the cars go through the red light, or barrel across the neighboring properties, so that they don't have to wait for the crossing guard to cross the children! Believe me it happens EVERY DAY. So good luck to you on your adventure. Be ready to wait a very long time. It has been 4 long years of asking begging and pleading for mine

He knows a public figure must be responsive to the public. He was steeped in it. I live on a steep hill and had to call for two days after a storm, leaving messages to have my road plowed, begging for sand and getting no response. I know it'll be better this winter if Nick gets in.

Who is Nick? I thought we just voted, and Rouse got in? Doesn't he have another year or two? How long is our sentence. It's like being in prison for this Brookhaven resident

Nick is running against him in November -- I've known him for years and he's ace. I was so happy to see signs on people's lawns that he's running for Hway Supv. if we're lucky, Rouse is only in till the end of December and hopefully, the snow/ice won't come until after that!

Hey do ya think Nick will put in the much needed sidewalks across from Sachem North???? Just a wish list!

I can tell you, I am definitely voting for Nick Caracappa!! I am also going to tell everyone I know to vote for him as well I love election day
