The Board is just looking out for themselves (their kids) and will do whatever that administration wants to ensure that their kids get the best teachers, programs, scholarships, whatever is available.

I heard that the deputy superintendent Anthony Bonasera has a reputation of going after those kids whose parents challenge him. I also heard that he was let go as head of the special ed committee after a class action suit was brought against him.

In fact I know people who had to take their
kids out of the school because of the deputy superintendents antics. The sad part-the BOE watched it happen and never said a word.

I feel he is not a nice man and that he deliberately uses his job and that ridiculous salary to go after kids of parents he doesn't like. I called the controller's office and asked them to investigate Mount Sinai. They claim Mount Sinai did not make the "list" because there are not enough investigators.

I agree. I hope these administrators and Board members who are involved in a scandal of their own in our district take a long good look at that superintendent over there in Roslyn. Sooner rather than later they are going to get caught in their own ring of culpability....and the naysayers and rubber stampers will be thrown out on their weak simple-minded faces.

I still have trouble understanding how mt. sinai didn't get picked up on the controller's radar given all the questions about spending here. I too called and they have a team of 8 auditors in Pat-Med for the next two months and don't have the manpower to look in mt. sinai. Spread the wealth a little can we? There are thieves in every district. And they're not all In Medford.

I say both. Spending is a nighmare - a lot of frivolus spending and a lot of it not going to kids and education.

Look at all school board forums 707 is always trying to compare school districts and teacher's salaries to wall street saying if they got away with it so should the schools,he is a little scared person hiding in the school system and going on these sites justifying what the teachers and the schools do look at every site 707 has gone on and read his quotes always " well look at wallstreet and the bailouts and the bounus's". We pay these teachers with our homeowners tax bills it hits every home owner. But 707 forgets to say all those company's that got bailed out are in the teachers pension retirement pension system making up the bulk of it, and if they failed the teachers retirement pension would have to be funded by more from our tax bill if approved by the state that's what scare's these teachers.
