Might be time to put your paperwork in, you look a little disgruntled, and dont ever threathen someones job, your really just a person when you take your badge off. Dont forget who you work for

Courtesy starts with the off duty cop by apologizing to the on duty cop for his mistake. If no apologies are offered write a ticket and skip the lecture. If the cop thinks the violation and resultant actions of the driver are bad enough to give a lecture, then give a summons.

Absolutely right, no cop would say that. Just another retard mad that someone told him he did something wrong and he couldn't do something about it. Just be happy you didn't get the ticket..it sounds like you needed it, at least then you'd have a reason to complain. For your next stop go into Macy's and tell the Men's manager you want to talk to the operations manager and when he gets there tell him you want to talk to the store manager...waaaa waaaa I didn't get what I wanted.

pba card isnt a get out of jail free card. Most people who have them dont need them.
It simply allows an officer the opportunity to give a person a warning for a violation( as per nys law not a mandatory arrest/ summons situation)
I stop hundreds of people a year, I give breaks to those who deserve it. Of those hundreds a few say 3-10 are police or police family members and yes, even deps.

I lived on LI for a long time... had direct family on the job and never had an issue.

Now that I live out of state, I don't pull out the card... but on 2 occasions I have been extremely respectful (just like I was back on LI with a card) to the officer and both times was given a warning. So I think attitude and showing respect goes further than any card.

Also - not sure if you guys all know this... but the courtesy thing pretty much is exclusive to NY and surrounding areas. Out where I live now, they don't care about family and even write other cops!

The lecture probably resulted from you being an ignorant and obnoxious, turd-puffer. An azz-wooping is temporary. Being stupid like yourself is permanent.

There's something that you don't know about courtesy. He/ she on-duty gets the benefit of the doubt, while you can go home complaining and bang your fat sister.

He knows who he works for. It's reminded to us every other Thursday.

Working a decent area I see cards almost everyday. The cards are for a good guy who makes an honest mistake. They are not for thumbing your noses at the law and other citizens. Unsigned (anonymous) cards don't mean anythgng to me.

My last 3 arrests had cards. It didn't help them none.
