The First (Troiano), Third (Ferrara) and Fifth (Seeman) Districts are up for re-election this year. The big question for Rafe would be where the difference in money (big difference) would come from. Lee. however, has no plans to leave.

Seeman's seat most definitely up this year. Some are dissatisfied with her and would like to see her gracefully retire. Rafe will announce the switch at the party convention later this month. He will take a leave of absence as Town leader and the party will be run by committee, as it was after Galante retired in '07.

It wouldn't happen that way. If it was to happen (unlikely), Seeman would be nominated and petitions would be circulated for her, then she would decline after petitions were filed and the Committee on Vacancies would name a successor (theoretically, Rafe). That is how the bigwigs in Great Neck think. They are so afraid of a primary they would do cartwheels to avoid one. Only one problem: Lee doesn't want out, and with her decades of experience in Great Neck, even the other leaders could not move her out.

With a corrupt government documented in numerous articles and trials, this is a good year to knock off Jonnie.
Watch the GOP waste this opportunity by using the same old faces with the same oild taglines.
