Is there anyone else out there who believes that
a) Recent terrorist warnings are coming at a very convenient time for Mr. Bush to pass tax legislation while we're looking the other way?
b)Recent Osama bin Laden comments were manufactured by very unsophisticated media people in the Whitehouse? I mean if the guy was alive, he'd prove it by holding up a current newspaper in front of a camera or something.
c) That even if the jerk (Bush...I need to qualify, there are so many)is voted out in 04 that he won't yeild power?

Yeah, that Duct Tape thing should've come out after 9-11, not 1.5 yrs later...

It's trying to scare up the public. Just like in the Cold War Era we'd have all these nuclear fallout warnings in order to rally us against the Soviets and as an excuse to raise military spending and justify Vietnam, Grenada, etc.

It's really discouraging when a good portion of the population believes that the feds are trying to psychologically manipulate us. Government should lead by honesty.

How about the Bush catch-phrase "weapons of mass destruction"? Who comes up with this stuff?

Look at this in reality: What can a wimpy, cash-poor country like Iraq do to US? NOTHING. We'd blow them to smithereens if they ever did anything to us. We'd all enlist the next day.

The goal of every single government is to protect itself and its people. Saddam wouldn't tempt fate by attacking us.

He couldn't beat Iran.
