Nassau residents, politicians and the political parties in this County are quite pathetic, even hopeless. After 8 years of a Suozzi massacre, incredible damage done by Suozzi in a multitude of areas, and no bright spot in his tenure to point to, and the County a big steaming, stinking financial hopeless mess, why in god's name has he not been dumped by his party? And why has the Republican party not cultivated and produced one or more viable attractive and talented opposition candidates ? How can we go thru 4 more years of this sickening crap? Why are people in Nassau putting up with all this Garbage without resisting and shouting "NO" ? It is so puzzling...

the board of supervisors was a much better way to manage the County, since all of the supervisors are executives. but.... blame the whole "one person one vote crowd" for the loss of that form of municipal government.
