Here's a thread I'd like to start that I've never seen here. Please post whenever you see a taxpayer/donor-financed fire vehicle being used in a decidedly non-firematic duty--which, in my experience, seems to be quite often.

I'll start with the East Williston FD Chief (or one of the Assistant Chiefs, because you know every one of them needs his own car) parked in the Fire Zone(!) dropping off the missus and the daughter to go shop in Linens and Things while he hung out parked in the Fire Zone. And, I can assure you that the 2 ladies were not picking up anything for the fire house. Alas, the missus did dirty her new Yankees jacket on the passenger door getting out of the car. Perhaps, the dry cleaning bill can be put into the budget. This occurred Sunday 3/14.

before you start running your mouth how about you check the laws. It is not illegal to sit in a fire zone provided that the driver remains in the car and is able to move the vehicle in the event of an emergency. So go back to your miserable life and stop stirring the pot.

I think you 2 are missing the point. What about taxpayer dollars paying for a car to be used when this guy's wife wants to go shopping? But, then again, it sounds like you are deliberately avoiding the point.

I'm tired of the old "What if you're in a burning house?" argument. We know the answer to that one--we'd like to be helped. It's irrelevant to the topic of a misuse of public facilities. Local volunteer fire departments have become frat houses for guys who never went to college and/or just want to get out of the house. The collective good (altruistic firematic duties) is getting abused by vollie fd's holding up their elected officials and constituents for unnecessary perks (not even close to being essential to putting out fires).

Chief vehicles are taken wherever they go in case an alarm comes over and they have to respond. They don't respond from the firehouse and therefore have to have their vehicles with them, which also hold all of their equipment.

I agree chief's should always have vehicle to do their job. Commissioners should ABSOLUTELY NOT use a car except when on official business related to his or her elected duties. Two of Syosset Fire Commissioners use car often for personal use.
One of them who also happens to be employed by a local republican politician uses a car for weeks at at a time. The best part is that he almost never makes a fire call but he never misses a local civic meeting where he can show all his phony friends how important he is. The other guy likes to cart his kids around the town in the District SUV. Bottom Line-Wasteful and Arrogant

i agree with you guys 100% comissioners shouldnt get a vehicle to drive around in and for the most part they generally dont use district vehicles for personal use with the exception of the bad eggs

as to chiefs they should be able to go wherever they want whenever they want in their chiefs car the whole point of giving the chief a car is so he is a first responder and yes you need 4 chiefs because having 4 almost guarantees you that one will be at almost every call it is very rare that a dept doesnt get 1 chief on the road on average the chief gets on scene about 5 minutes before the first responding truck thats alot of time when you are in a burning building and the chief has full gear so he can go inside if someone is on the front lawn saying that theres still someone inside

they should be able to take their wife and kids shopping because i could almost guarantee if a call comes out that the chief waiting there will grab the 2 of them out of the store respond to the call and make the wife and kid wait in the car til the call is over

It amazes me how many people criticize the volunteers who serve to protect you for no monetary compensation whatsoever. I find it offensive that you believe if an individual volunteers his services to his/her community and doesn't go to college that he is somehow not worthy of your respect and admiration. The mere fact that anyone would volunteer to risk their lives to save yours commands your utmost appreciation..period. For the record the only voluntary part of belonging to a volunteer fire dept. is joining. From then on your life becomes devoted to a "pay-less" job, requiring you to make minimum percentage of calls, meetings, drills, trainings, parades, fund drives, cleanups, and completing endless hours of required schools. They often miss dinners with the family, Sundays at home, x-mas, new years and a good part of their lives answering calls, all in the name of helping their fellow neighbor. The Chiefs have every right to drive their assigned Chief's car whenever and wherever they please. Not only have they fulfilled the requirements of being a volunteer firefighter but have dedicated so much time to going above and beyond the call of duty that they "volunteered" to sacrifice more of their lives to becoming a line officer and then Chief. I've personally seen a Chief's wife and child waiting in the car for hours on a winter evening while the Chief was at the command post of a fire. Commissioners, as well, do not get paid for their services, so what if they borrow a car for a few weeks. What a travesty? Many do the job while working a full and part-time job as well. They have enormous responsibility and although not required to, may respond to emergencies while in that car lending support to the Chief at a major incident. The amount of money "wasted", as you put it, on these infinitesimal perks is minuscule compared to the abuses of your PAID politicians. Next time you think to criticize these fine young men and women, reflect upon the self sacrifices they make every day and say "they deserve even more than getting to drive a car"

Well said my friend! You are 100 % right when talking about hard working members of any departmental rank. Who cares if a commissioner uses the car once in a while? I am in total AGREEMENT w/ you!! I don't think you have any idea though about a certain board member in Syosset who in my opinion is abusing his elected position.

One commissioner actually goes on taxpayer paid conferences costing thousands of dollars each. While there he sells fire equipment which he receives hefty commissions. With this, he also spends hundreds of dollars monthly on his district paid cell phone which he basically runs his business off of. When he returns w/ his pockets full-he then drives off into the sunset in the district suv which he uses for personal use. His bills are always approved by his followers on the board which allows this cycle to continue. The best part of all is that he receives credit for every fire call, meeting, drill, parade etc that is held whether or not he shows up or not because the board voted themselves " member at large status". In a nutshell, he shows up for very little, receives credit for everything and when he turns 55 he will receive new york state retirement service benefits for his hard work as a volunteer fireman. It is a JOKE and a slap in the face to every volunteer in any organization who do it for the right reasons. I would hope you would agree???

Does the public in Syosset have the ability to vote in elections? If so, they should be made aware of the problem with this one commissioner and should band together to get him out of office. OK so the chief has a car for responding purposes, so the chiefs at the mall with his wife and child or even better on his way home from the mall with family in tow in a district/tax payer vehicle . The alarm of the century comes in he responds with HIS FAMILY on board and crashes....... the family is hurt and now the wife decides to sue the district for MILLIONS. My contention is if the chief has non-fire department personnel on board why should he be allowed to respond !!! The risk to his family and the potential cost to the tax payers is enormous. My dept foes not permit the Chiefs to take their vehicles out of the County for non-department use (i.e. if they work in NYC or Suffolk, they have to take their personal cars). I think that's a reasonable restriction.

I have no experience with commissioners, as we are not a fire district, but I would think that commissioners are equivalent to village trustees and, as such, should not be provided with Fire Dept vehicles but should get pagers etc. What possible benefit does the department get by issuing a vehicle to a commissioner?

As to use of the Chiefs car, it seems idiotic to deny a Chief the ability to take his/her spouse and/or children in his/her car, especially if he/she is in the Village. If he/she gets into an accident, that is the price we pay to thank them for investing untold amounts of time to do their job. It's a very small perk for a very time consuming and difficult job. Believe me when I tell you I do not want to run for Chief in my department because of the time involved to do the job properly.

As to the comments about fire houses being populated by poorly educated blue collar types. First, so what, even if true. Second, go look again. My company was jokingly called the "Silk Stocking Boys" years ago because the vast majority of the company were White Collar workers and even now many of the members have undergraduate, graduate and/or post graduate degrees.

Vollies received "awards" that's what they call the money they will receive or what their insurance coverage provides...Like Workman's comp. For example a Lynbrook Vollie was charged by the Nassau County DA with Workmans comp fraud. Supposedly this Vollie broke his ankle on a drill. However he broke it the night before when he was hanging around the firehouse. Here he goes and pulls that crap while his family members are longstanding Vollies in high positions in the department.

There's other insurance coverage they have, too. And then there is that pension they get. Right, a monthly pension on top of what ever the get get from a former employer and what Social Security will provide them for retiring.

Plus, now they want the elected officals in office to approve a bill that will grant them a tax break on their homes. Know where your millions of tax dollars are going. Especially when they hold those private lap dance parties in a building paid for by tax money for the boys. And they do

lets try and clear up some of these ridiculous posts on both this and other fire department posts throughout this website.......for one: we do not have "lap dance" parties as you say throughout the fd's used by taxpayer money....we chip in and pay for it from our paychecks from our 9-5 jobs, monday through friday, 40 hours a week, on top of volunteering. for two: chiefs using the car outside of the district, who cares?? we run like a business in some standards, and its no worse then people driving around in company owned cars with the exception that it has red lights upon it. It amazes me the amount of people who dont seem to like the fire department but do ABSOLUTELY nothing to change the standards except sit behind their computer screen and piss and moan about stuff they have no idea about or are hearing secondhand. Actually, No. A good number of Nassau County Fire Departments are "Fire Protection Districts" which are independent, incorporated, companies that contract Fire/EMS services to towns and villages.

So, those companies own the property, buildings, and equipment, not the taxpayers. This has been held up by NYS, and even documented in "opinion" papers by the NYS AG's office. Don't believe me? Feel free to send a letter to Mr. Spitzer's office, and he'll send you a nice letter telling you what I just said.

Off the top of my head, I know of at least 10 FPDs.

Next, NO ONE gets handed cash from their FD. And firehouses are NOT public property. Yes, the taxpayers do have a right to know where their money is spent. That's why before all of the "complainers" open their mouths they should actually step foot in a firehouse and take a look at the equipment and what's inside. Not all departments have nice new buildings. The problem is even if you did step foot inside, you still wouldn't know if their equipment is good or not because you don't know the difference, having never used it. I just think all cops should be paid equally. They all do the same job. There's no reason why an NYPD officer who faces more violence on a daily basis should be paid $40K less than an SCPD officer. And if FDs ever did go paid, which will not happen, those paid FFs should be paid equally as well because the job they do is just as dangerous, if not more.

I responded, which you probably didn't see. I thank you for your support. The haters try to bash me because everytime they have tried to say something negative about the FD I have squashed it with the truth. They don't like that, not being a volunteer, I know more about the FDs than they do. I think the public has a right to know where their tax dollars go. But at the same time, they need to hear the truth, not the bull that people post simply because they don't like the FD due to personal reasons.

In response to the paid EMS, I never said that wasn't a good idea. The volunteer departments do a GREAT job here on LI. There IS a problem with rescue crews getting out during the day. Why is this? Because the volunteers are busy working at their regular jobs. Yeah, that's right, perhaps you forgot that they have regular jobs ON TOP OF volunteering in their spare time. Let's not forget the drills, classes, and training that goes on top of all that. Some departments have gone with paid EMS and it does work. More departments should consider this, if they have not done so already. The depts exist to serve the community and therefore SHOULD be thinking of what's in the best interest of the public. That is a paid rescue squad during the day. The taxpayers must know that this would come at a price to them due to the salaries, benefits, overtime pay, and training that would be involved.

Don't sit here and say these guys don't do a good job. Because let me tell you, I have NEVER seen so much dedication. Think about this. Have you ever been in a fire and then later found out there where chemicals in that building that could have killed you? Have you ever been in a burning buiding and fell to the ground, but when you called for help your brother FFs couldn't hear because of a defect in the radios? Have you ever gone to a rescue and gotten blood on you, to later find out that person had AIDS? Have you ever been at the scene of a mva and seen someone's head split open to the point where their brains were actually spilling out onto the ground? These guys see all this and more. GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DESERVED!

as i have said before ive read through these threads many times a day, personally, for pure entertainment value, but offer a few words of encouragement/disencouragement.....
To "Bluedahlia": When you first posted i thought you were a very intelligent human being with a proper educated opinion on certain areas of topic, but now after seeing how you have responded, i notice you are nothing more then a man with a severe case of "blueballs" not "bluedahlia". Unhappily married men around the firehouse? Open your eyes hotshot, that is everyday life, makes me wonder if your happily involved yourself, dont let someones personal life take judgement over their service to the community, the last thing we need is to pull up to someones house to have him/her standing there asking if we are happily married or not, instead of letting us do our job. but for the worthy, i myself am neither married or involved,so I'd be okay to do the job.

Your act on here is old and worn out. Just like the entire volunteer fire department. The equipment and buildings have been paid for by the taxpayers. The taxpayers are paying to maintain them and buy new equipment.

Those that have been in charge and its members plus the moronic females like yourself that lick their boots are obsolete. And in your case, a younger one is waiting in the wings to take your place.

Even more so, those that are in charge are simply afraid of losing their power and prestige if a paid fireman system goes into effect And all those millions of taxpayers monies they have access to for their own personal use.

And instead of having old worn out cheerleaders like you hanging around the firehouse, they will bring in paid female firefighters who know how to get the job done instead of being the help during a pancake breakfast. Do you want butter with that?

If Vollies want to continue to serve in local fire departments that have turn over to a paid system, let them apply for the job. What are they afraid of, the competition or is it the fact the public be better served by paid professionals who have to answer for their actions?

Oh, and by the way why should any resident trust its local volunteer fire department when paid fireman that are unionized are told that they are not to volunteer their time because it provides free labor. They are considered scabs. And these local vollie department are full of paid fireman who join volunteer fire departments just to get away from the wife and kids to have a dumb broad like you provide their nightly entertainment.

No where on this board did any volunteers use the line "Who are you going to call when your house catches fire". That is something made up by you haters in an attempt to make the volunteers look bad. Sorry, try again! Some residents may be fed up with the spending and rightfully should be. Yes, airbrush designs are not necessary. Yes, some commissioners do spend too much on a personal basis. But what most of you who are complaining don't understand is that in certain departments THE PUBLIC VOTES THE COMMISSIONERS IN! If you don't like the commissioners, then get your butts down to the firehouse during election time and VOTE! LEARN about the possible choices and VOTE! The public can also run! Don't complain about something YOU have a say in!

The public pays to have the FD at their beck and call. THERE IS NO PRICE YOU CAN PUT ON THIS! I've seen volunteers save lives. If you are as pathetic as I'm assuming by the immature uneducated comments you have made, then perhaps you would put a price on saving someone's life, but I think it's fair to say most people wouldn't.

I guess you haven't been around an FD at all, but I have. There are plenty of female FFs in the depts and they are MORE THAN ABLE TO get the job done. How dare you underestimate the dedication or experience of people YOU DON'T KNOW!

Many volunteers already do work in a paid FD...FDNY. The volunteers are just that, VOLUNTEERS because THEY DON'T WANT TO BE PAID. They are happy to do what they do out of the KINDNESS OF THEIR HEARTS! YOU should be THANKFUL that these guys come to your aid WHENEVER you need them. Perhaps THIS is why the public should trust their local FD.

Seems typical when someone like Spiced has no clue on a topic they resort to personal attacks. Unions (which frequently do not reflect the views of their membership) want to bar paid firefighters from serving in the volunteer ranks to pressure municipalities. The unions want all firefighters to be paid simply because it will increase membership thereby increase the union's power and the pay of the union leaders.
In my Department we have several FDNY members who volunteer happily and who, for the most part, willingly share their knowledge and experience. I don't think anyone of them want to see volunteers replaced by paid departments.

I am in no way limiting your 1st amendment rights. As for you as an "expert", it's an inference that you would like the readers to believe. Nice lack of context. The quote stated:

I see no problem with that at all. If they reside in those communities and those communities have volunteer firefighters in the department, then I'm all for it. Of course the typical union response is to oppose any volunteers because it detracts from the union power base.
Should lawyers be prevented from volunteering to perform free legal services, should teachers be prevented from offering free tutoring services to underpriviliged areas (I'm sure the UFT would have a fit), what about construction workers helping their neighbors fix a house. The list could go on.
What's the problem, the problem is the union mentality. It seems the union members support the volunteers, given the number of City firefighters who volunteer. They don't seem to be the ones complaining, who is? The union reps and leaders who care only about the power of the union, not what's best for the community.

Being that you are "so interested" in my life, let me explain it to you. I am not a CPA. I am an accounting executive for a private medical billing company. I am also earning my PhD. So yes, when I come home from classes or work I am constantly on the computer. It's called work and research. You see, my work day, which encompasses hours in my office, in classes, and doing work outside the office and classroom, is usually about 13 hours long. When I need a quick break from work and a good laugh I come on here. I have worked VERY hard to get where I am and do not appreciate ANYONE questioning that. I have accomplished all this and more, and here's a little secret...I'm only 21 years old. To start with, I don't know what dept you are in but in the departments that I know NO woman is degraded by the male volunteers. The women in these departments are very highly regarded and have proved themselves among the ranks of men. Perhaps you are one of those women who hate men for whatever reason, but that is no reason to say that women are degraded in FDs simply because they are women. Yes, it is a male dominated WORLD, but women must stand up and hold their own. That is up to each individual woman to do in her own way. I have chosen not to volunteer in a FD. That is correct. I simply do not have the time to put into it. Being a volunteer in a FD requires a lot of dedication and time that I simply can not give right now. I believe if I did join it would be unfair to the public, as well as to the other members who are able to dedicate their time. If I do something, it is with my whole being, not just the part of me I can manage to get together after being in my office or in the classroom all day. The public deserves this type of person serving them. I commend you on becoming an EMT because that is a lot of work and requires much dedication. I did actually consider becoming an EMT before I chose a PhD program. My days literally consist of around 13 hours of work. Unless I stopped sleeping, there's just no time to put into the service.

In regards to these boards, if you take a look at the main page the title of this thread is "Fire Departments N/S". This means that the people posting on here are discussing issues from both counties. The commissioner discussed in the Syosset thread is an important issue that needs to be addressed and that is what these boards are for. He is abusing his power and something should be done about it. It's as simple as that. And yes, I did say I would like to host meetings between the public and local FDs. You see, there are 2 very different sides to the issues surrounding FDs. The chiefs and board members could not host such meetings because it would be biased. And the public could not host them for the same reason. While I believe strongly that volunteers are some of the most dedicated people in the world, I also believe I remain unbiased on issues that are obviously wrong on the part of FDs (i.e. the Syosset commissioner abusing his "power", paid EMS crews during the day, etc.), as well as those on the public (i.e. volunteers are not trained well enough, a paid system would be better, etc). These meetings may or may not work, but it is worth a shot. It could potentially open the line of communication up between the FDs and the people they serve.

To address your completely uncalled for bashing of me, you are sadly pathetic. I can understand asking why I do not volunteer my time (which by the way I do volunteer my time to other organizations related to my PhD program) because it is a valid question. But was the name calling and bashing really necessary? Of course not. We are adults here, come one! Perhaps it bothers you that I am only 21 years old and am very successful, sometimes more successful than some over the age of 30. I could not tell you what medical providers charge for a dose of Tylenol because I am not a medical biller. I am an accounting executive (and yes, that is the exact title given to me by the Pres/CEO of the company), which means I handle the finances of the company (i.e. the money that comes in, goes out, collections, invoicing clients, account management, cash flow, etc). My guess however, is that the charge is completely ridiculous. But what I can tell you is that doctors usually are only given half of what they bill out by insurance companies, if that provides you with any comfort. As far as my brains go, I don't think I'd be in a PhD program if I didn't have them. MY GPA is a 4.0 and I have no reason not to be proud of that.

I don't know exactly what your problem is with me. If you have a problem with something related to FDs that I have said then of course I welcome a grown up discussion about it. But to sit here and copy and paste statements I have made over and over again is not only sad, but pointless. Those statements I made are valid. You do not know me and therefore have no reason to bash me because you simply do not like the fact that I am 21 years old and am not only doing something with my life rather than tossing it away, but am apparently more intelligent than you. I just thought you should know that the village only supplies a car for the department Chief. That is not likely to have been the car you saw. I'm not just a member of the East Williston Fire Department, I'm also a Village Trustee, and have been for a total of 9 years. We pay for one chief's car, and only one. It's a recently-leased Chevrolet Impala. Prior to that, our one and only chief's car was purchased, used, from the Old Westbury P.D. (We leased this time only because there wasn't a suitable used car available.) We had leased one other car from Old Westbury, under similar circumstances. Prior to those purchases, we had a station wagon that, again, we purchased used.

The two assistant chiefs drive their own cars, and have for as long as I have been a Trustee and, so far as I know, for as long as we have had a fire department.

We are having our Village budget hearing this coming Monday, at 8:00. If you'd like to verify the facts, feel free to come to the Village Hall and ask. If you don't feel up to it, thanks, anyway, for playing.

How 'bout getting the LIRR to build you a real waiting room now and not just knocking down the old one, like they just built in Merrick and RVC to name a few. Or, will you cave on that one, too? I don't know what Tough Love saw, or when he supposedly saw it. Given his accuracy with respect to the number of chiefs cars that East Williston pays for, I think that whatever his observation is, it can be discounted.

The issue is, though, is the East Williston chief's car being misused or abused? The answer is no. There are several questions which you should ask, instead of being cute, Old School, so if you don't mind, I'll ask them for you.

Do chief's cars get driven around the district and its environs, by the chief, when the chief is at home? Occasionally, yes. (I frequently see him driving his own car, too, by the way, and any member of the department can tell you the same thing.)

Does our chief drive it to work? No.

Is the chief (the East Williston Chief, anyway) frequently the first one on the scene? Yes.

Is it important that the chief be the first, or one of the first, at the scene, and in a vehicle equipped to communicate both with the responding firefighters and Firecom? Yes.

Could he do that if he had to first drive his personal car from wherever he happens to be, to his home, and then pick up the chief's car to respond to the fire? Not likely.

Does his ability to arrive at the scene early on, and communicate with the responding firefighters and with Firecome come from the fact that he has a properly equipped chief's car? In large part, yes.

Does he direct the responding firefighters from the scene, or make an early call for mutual aid when necessary, using the radio provided with the car? Yes.

Does that make the expense related to the car worth it? I think so.

Part of the forest, and the trees as well, Old School, is made up of people saying things, and writing things, when they don't possess the facts, in an attempt at picking a fight. So, in that context, when somebody who makes an alleged observation then makes it clear that he is pulling facts out of his back pocket, and has no idea what he's talking about, I think it's important to raise that issue as well. I think an honest person will use that in evaluating the initial statement, or should anyway.

I'm not sure that I understand what you're talking about with regard to the railroad station/waiting room, or how that relates to the message thread. Nobody has any plans to knock the existing one down. Senator Balboni obtained funds for us to restore it, but the project has been delayed by substantial and unexpected structural issues which only became apparent when work started. I don't live in EW, but do live in a place (and have lived in places) where every type of chief (including Robert Parrish, I think) had a car. How does EW do it? Is there a stipend? Are there soft dollars involved? Do the cars revert to the chiefs after a year or two? How in the world of all of the fd's coming together all the time and always wanting what the other guy has, does EW pull this off--especially in a place where keeping up with the Joneses is the way of life?

No stipend, no soft dollars, no reversion of the cars. Our quarters are pretty spartan, I suppose, and we traditionally run some pretty old rigs. I think that makes us a better department than we would be if we had unlimited resources, and I think my belief is shared by my fellow firefighters, for the most part.

The Board of Trustees is simply very careful with a dollar, across the board and the firefighters, being taxpayers, support us when we limit expenditures to what is needed for all levels of government, and nothing more. As an example, we're still running a 1962 4WD truck as one of our principal snowplows and still managed to do a pretty good job getting the roads done these past two years. In the mid-90's, we replaced a 1967 truck, and a 1971 engine, largely because the manufacturers of the rigs, engines and pumps were no longer in business, and obtaining replacement parts was becoming increasingly difficult. We are only now considering the replacement of a 1976 engine (our second due rig), and when we do, the new engine will be top quality in terms of engine and pump, but bare bones in every other respect.

We buy good quality equipment, and use it until its worn out. As a result, we frequently manage to avoid village tax increases, and the members recognize this, and know that it can only be done by being careful.

One of the reasons I have written a lot about the subject of volunteer firefighters on this thread, and others (and occasionally been angry about it) is because my experience in EW demonstrates that the fault is not in the system. I believe that a village which defends itself, rather than hiring out the job, is a better place for it. We tend to get members who are in if for the service, not the perks. The members can afford their own perks, and don't depend upon the public to provide them. I don't think we are alone, or rare, or anything other than the norm among village departments in this regard.

And we frequently have members of the Fire Department who are also on the Board at the same time, which helps when evaluating what's really needed, and buying only the essentials.

By the way, East Williston really isn't a "keep up with the Joneses" kind of place, as it happens. People tend to be relatively quiet about their successes, and live within their means, and that holds true for the members of the department, as well.

O.K. lets get into this once again think about how much you make a year at your job......................then figure this one out a chief puts in a lot more than 40 hours a week in any given week and im not just talking about responding you also need to know there is a lot of administrative duties involved not including all the training and everything else .................keep complaining and you will see how much a paid dept. costs you just think about it.

Here's a thread I'd like to start that I've never seen here. Please post whenever you see a taxpayer/donor-financed fire vehicle being used in a decidedly non-firematic duty--which, in my experience, seems to be quite often.

I'll start with the East Williston FD Chief (or one of the Assistant Chiefs, because you know every one of them needs his own car) parked in the Fire Zone(!) dropping off the missus and the daughter to go shop in Linens and Things while he hung out parked in the Fire Zone. And, I can assure you that the 2 ladies were not picking up anything for the fire house. Alas, the missus did dirty her new Yankees jacket on the passenger door getting out of the car. Perhaps, the dry cleaning bill can be put into the budget. This occurred Sunday 3/14.
